~Happy Chinese New Year~

yeah..1 of the reason that make me sooo happy is that I am back to my hometown~Kota Bharu for almost 1 week time....I miss my mum's cooking soooo much..cny goodies...kelantan delicacies..and of course its the time for gathering as well...

Dong Dong Chiang....Its Tiger Year~

My dad bought this tiger and named it as Titus(this name can be found in the Bible)

Kelantan Hot and Spicy Laksa~ My mum home cooked laksa and its really finger licking good...(*thumbs up*)

Ta Da.....here it is.....really makes me feel sooo hungry whenever i see this pic.................

Kelantan famous delicacies....known as 'Kiam Kui'...it is a combination of salty 'kuih'and prawnsss......

Mum's Ketupat Sotong...nyam nyam.....

Those are my friendssss that I have been known for N years.....its really great to meet them up again......

~Reunion Dinner

Reunion..Reunion..~
Chinese New Year is all abount Reunion....and Ang Powsss..hehe.This year mum doesn't need to cook..(yea..as it will be very tiring for her) so..we had our reunion dinner at Ritz Boutique Restaurant..a newly opened chinese restaurant which is situated at Jalan ,Kelantan...

Our first dish is "Lou Sang"...normally it's a MUST Lou Event during chinese new year as chinese belieave that it wil bring good luck for the year as you 'Lou' it higher and higher.

Lou Sang usually consists of strips of raw fish (most commonly salmon) mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces and condiments..among other ingredients..this is a own made yee sang by the restaurant itself...and it taste not bad..

~Higher and Higher~

Shark Fin soup is also a 2nd MUST dish during the reunion dinner...A chinese origin soup made with shark fin and flavoured with crab meat or some other ingredients.

Chicken cooked and boiled with traditional chinese medicine....

Abalone with mushroom.....

Steam Fish...most of us didn't like the outlook of the fish..it looks a bit weird..rite??

Yea..its my favourtie...Prawns with salted egg..not bad huh...but high colestrol ler....

The dessert is quite special and it is a combination of Yam and Rice...

~ Small Gathering @ Nippon Yataimura

Its gathering time.....Me n my colleague plan to have a small small 'makan makan' and shopping trip before CNY...so we choose to have our dinner at Nippon Yataimura which is situeated at QB mall.....its a famous Japanese Restaurant with great environment and the price are reasonable...After the dinner, we went for 'crazy shopping'- hunting for CNY clothes..shoes...accessories.....all these are what a gal need before cny rite..haha~

There are colourful 'tang lung' hanging all over the restaurant which attracted me the most as they are really beautiful and sweetttttt...................

My GreenTea for FOC........................

I ordered this Ramen(intro by the chef) and it taste sooo delicious and HOT......we can choose the level of spices we want...from rank 1 to 15...gosh....its my first time to have a taste of this ramen as I always order other menu when dining in....it really makes me feel HOT and SPICY....i can feel my stomache is burning after having it( as I only choose rank 5)...u can imagine that my colleague who choose to have rank 12????

but worth to try.....don't worry~

~Dinner @ Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant

This Daorae Korean BBQ has been open for quite a period of time...it is situated at Bayan Point..near to the Krystal Suite.....however me n dear just get to try it as it is not worth for 2 people(in terms of quantity)...Finally..here comes the chance....:) we had our dinner with church bros and sis and at the same time celebrating Jason's birthday...
I love the environment....peaceful and I can really experience the korean lifestyle while dining in....besides that, the owner of the restaurant is quite handsome...(*attractive*) he is a Korean Guy and very polite while serving people...(forgot to take a pirc with him..as a tip of memories..haha~)
There are a variety of choices and finally we make up our decision to order SamKyubSal, Moksal,Pork-Ju-mul-luk and Kimchi JeonGol.....(chicken and pork) the whole meal cost us RM174.90....

~The Green Tea is quite special..............and nice to drink.....and its FOC.....

~SamKyubSal, Moksal,Pork-Ju-mul-luk @ RM 27 and RM35............

~Hot and Spciy Kimchi JeonGol @ RM70................(quite expensive huh) this is the only dishes that I think is not worth at all......

~Preparation for Chinese New Year

~Dong Dong Chiang......Chinese New Year is around the corner......there are many things that need to be prepare.. and most important thing is Shopping~..yea....my favourite...shop for my parent's clothess...my own clothess....cny biscuits....cny gifts..more and more...I enjoyed the excitement sooo much~ can't wait to go back to my home sweet home~kota bharu....:)

Citi has been 50 years in Malaysia..so all of the staff will get a watch as a gift of appreciation..not bad huh...for guys will get a guy watch and gals will get a gal watch..at first we thought that maybe it will be just a simple watch..who knows when we get it...first expression..*wah..not bad huh...* hehe...
