After that, we went to Kek Lok Si my friends have not been there before...Actually there is not much things to see at Kek Lok Si..after that we went for Air Itam's Laksa which is situated at a market just right after we came down from Kek Lok Si.......(I dun really like the taste as I prefer more on Penang Road's Laksa)Me n Kent do not realize that there is such a place is Penang until his collegue introduced it to us...I love it as we can know a lot of 'legend' and 'stories' of Baba and Nyonya after we visited to this place~Penang Pernanakan Mansion...
Here the stories goes........
Quote~
Depicting the typical home of a rich Baba of more than a century ago, the opulent lifestyle of these locally acculturated Chinese is created in the Pinang Peranakan Mansion to offer a glimpse of their many customes and traditions.More than just a Baba-Nyoya museum, this century old stately mansion of electric design incoporates Chinese carved-wood panels with English floor tiles and Scottish iron-works.Built at the end of the 19th century by obe of local history's famous personalities, the 'Hai Kee Chan' had once served as the residence and office of Kapitan Cina Chung Keng Kwee
